After 20+ years as VP, Marketing & Business Development for companies including American Express, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nickelodeon and Columbia House, Pam decided to make a fundamental career and quality-of-life change. After earning her NYS real estate license in May, 2004, she joined the Margaretville team of Frank Lumia Real Estate Plus! "The change from corporate product marketing in the city, to property marketing in Delaware County has been an eye-opener," she says, "My work here offers the best of both worlds: working with people one-on-one instead of with an abstract �target market," and the ongoing quest for that perfect match of "product" and customer. Pam says she also likes the ongoing learning process about everything real estate, from local architectural history, building structures, heating & plumbing mechanics, to how to set realistic selling prices and present property clearly and accurately . Guyot also loves the natural beauty of the area, "discovering spectacular views, and how familiar spots can be gorgeously transformed by just a tiny shift in the weather."
Pam lives with her husband, artist Fred Guyot, near Margaretville in a converted barn with lots of studio space. They also live in NYC in a loft in Soho, which is near the Tribeca office of Frank Lumia, with their son Gus, a Bard College undergraduate and part-time Macintosh sales rep at Tekserve.
