Eccentric extraordinaire.
My interest in real estate is limited. Most real estate people bug me. My relationship with Frank and crew has taught me different. This is the best business relationship I have ever been involved with to date.
I am a painter / sculptor and live and show in NYC. My studio is an enormous building in Delaware County where I hibernate in the mountains with the fresh air, running water, forests, and wildlife.
My family, too, is spread all over. My partner, Alyssa, is mostly in Amherst, Massachusetts with our son, Quentin. She is an architect that also commutes back and forth to NYC. Actually, I guess we TRIANGULATE.
My experience in business is typical of an artist:
Ran the largest dormitory in America at Michigan State University.
Taught sculpture there too. Taught art at Hunter College Campus School.
Owned a construction company in NYC for 20 years. Have done a lot of public speaking on an array of topics to as many as 5,000 people at one time.
Have traveled extensively:
Lived part time for 15 years on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota with an 85 year old Lakota Sioux medicine man. Lived briefly in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Kathmandu and after studying Buddhism for years, considered becoming a monk in a monastery in India. Lived in a grass shack on stilts on a deserted tropical island off the coast of Thailand.
Have hunted tigers on elephant back in the Chitiwan Jungle of northern India, but only found Rhinos.
Lived amongst the Bedouin Arabs of the Negev Desert while helping my two time Fulbright Fellow brother make a documentary. Have had a studio in Amsterdam, Holland, and Paris, France. Have traveled to: Milan, Florence, Rome, Venice, Vienna, Krakow, Prague, Munich, Koln, Berlin, Antwerp, Hong Kong, Kathmandu, all over Israel, and am headed to Africa and Australia next. Perhaps mainland China too.
Was an Olympic weightlifter once upon a time. Weighed 188 and lifted 350-something over my head. Have a distinct proclivity toward hermitism.
Am profoundly well read. Love quantum physics. Have studied world religions for several decades.
I am making a documentary film about Alien Abduction. Published poetry from coast to coast. Am a pathological mountain climber: Have trekked in the Himalayas, and am a ADK 46er and a High Pointer.
I have had as many as 61 exotic birds at a time and will soon be licensed to own a red tailed hawk.
Dont like telephones. Stay up too late too often. And am quite a character. (Some have called me a curmudgeon.) Are you sure you want to work with me?
If you want something more cogent, give me a call!
