Enthusiastic Newcomer
My life always had a way of surprising me. Every time I wanted to call a place “home” I wound up leaving and settling somewhere else. And so, I left Eastern Europe, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Dobbs Ferry. After owning a second home in Halcott for many years, four years ago my husband and I settled in the Catskill Mountains. I hope we will finally stay here a long time. We feel at “home” more here than anywhere else.
The Catskill Mountains are so close to New York City and yet so far away. It is hard to imagine that only two and a half hours away from the big metropolis of Manhattan rest these beautiful mountains where the air and water are pure, the winters are old fashioned, the summers are a pure delight of soft breezes and songs of birds and fall is abundant in color.
Before we moved here, I had a long career as a pension/benefits consultant. During those years I learned to respond quickly and effectively to our client’s needs, to hold their interests above my own and to work effectively with a team. Although I am new in the Real Estate profession, it is clear to me that my previous career prepared me well to provide an excellent service to our clients.
